Technology in Room 2

Room 2 was really lucky today!  Katie and Megan from Room 7 arrived just before 9 o'clock with the set of netbooks that are based in Room 7.  Their class were not using them today so we did!  First of all everybody wrote some ideas down in their writing book and then, when it had been proofread we went on the netbook.  Many of us know how to find our blog on the internet and we have learnt how to write on our blog so this was great practice.  We couldn't wait to have it checked so we could click on the publish button! 

 

We also have our interactive whiteboard on every day and our student computer which we use for Study Ladder. 

Every week we go to the computer suite to learn a new skill.  We have been learning how to create some pictures on Microsoft Word.  It's fun - we could put them on our blog!

Of course, we still have to write in our books as well. 
We have been practising our printing so that we can do neat work that everyone can read.

We also like to use counters and maths equipment for working out addition and subtraction.



And we still like using play dough too!

I'm so excited because I might have a go on the netbook and I'm going to write this story on the netbook. The netbooks are as big as a book, that's why they are called netbooks. Room 7 gave them to us. Do you know why they gave them to us? Because they did not need them today. We are only having them for one day, then Mr Freke might buy us some.
