Assembly Room 2

That was a lot of fun!
Room 2 presented their learning about the Rock Pools at their assembly last Friday.
The announcers spoke very clearly.

We sang a groovy song about rock pool creatures,

The Barnacles

The Limpets

The Starfish
The Crabs

The audience liked our song.  They clapped at the end of it.
We shared some of our posters about the Seashore code for kind KC kids

After we had shown a slideshow of our trip, we showed the mural we made of the rock pools.

Then we did our favourite part!!

The Greedy Grey Octopus

The reader did a wonderful job.  He spoke so clearly and he didn't even use a microphone. Wow!
All the actors did an excellent job of acting out their sea animal.
The Octopus was looking for his tea.
Have you ever seen an octopus fold its arms?
The squid moved gracefully across the stage...
Several crabs scuttled sideways over to the octopus.
Don't go too close!

The bright red crayfish were too clever for Mr Octopus.

A school of colourful fish were followed by ...

Three pretty pink shrimps.

Then along came a shark...

 A big, black shark, and...

Chomp!

He gobbled up the Octopus for tea!!

Everybody enjoyed being part of the play and the shark was very popular with the audience.

Great acting Room2.
Great assembly - You did really well.
